SOLAR + BATTERY STORAGE SYSTEM
Powerwall charges throughout the day by solar PV panels when the electricity production is much greater than the consumption.
Powerwall then stores the generated energy until it’s needed, such as in the evenings, or when the National Grid suffers a power outage.
Come sunrise, solar recharges the Powerwall creating a clean cycle of renewable energy.

A Tesla Powerwall consists of a 13.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, liquid thermal control system, an integrated inverter and software that intelligently dispatches electricity when it’s needed most. The unit mounts seamlessly on a wall or on the ground, indoors or outdoors, and is connected to the grid maximising your opportunity for economic benefit.
Battery storage systems such as the Tesla Powerwall, can charge during low rate periods when demand for electricity is lower and discharge during more expensive rate periods when electricity demand is higher, commonly known as load shifting.
